I am a Black woman artist deeply engaged with the Black community. Through my quilts and cyanotype images, I use fabric and photography to share stories of the Black American experience and, at times, the experiences of other marginalized groups. Recently, I have been experimenting with creative ways to tell stories through the fabric, exploring its potential as a medium for expression and connection.
